Service learning

The U.S. Department of Education admitted VCU to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for the sixth consecutive year.

The honor goes to those universities nationally who are most distinguished for service learning and civic engagement. It considers the number of hours our students spend working in the community and exemplary university-community partnerships, among other things.
